These terms apply to the Spin & Decide iOS app and this website (random.rdnv.io), provided by Nikolai Rodionov ("we"). By downloading or using the app, or by opening a link on this site, you agree to them. Please read them before you do.

Using the app

You may use the app on any device you own or control, for personal or commercial decisions alike. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the app, attempt to extract its source code, or create derivative versions of it. All intellectual property in the app and this site remains ours.

Shared links

Sharing a result or creating a draw publishes that decision's title and option labels to this site at an unlisted URL. Anyone with the link can open it, so do not put confidential or personal information into options you intend to share.

You are responsible for the content you publish this way. Do not use the sharing feature for anything unlawful, abusive, or infringing, and do not automate it or attempt to overwhelm the service — requests are rate-limited, and we may remove any shared link or block access at our discretion.

Shared links are deleted automatically 90 days after creation. Treat them as temporary; do not rely on a link remaining available.

Fairness of draws

A fair draw fixes its outcome when the link is created and publishes a hash of the secret seed at that moment, so the result can be checked afterwards against the seed. This is a safeguard against the outcome being changed after the fact — it is not a certified random number generator, and the app is not a gambling product. Do not use it where a regulated or audited draw is required.

Availability

The app's wheel, ladder, dice, coin, number and grouping tools work offline. Sharing needs a working internet connection, and your mobile operator's own charges may apply to that traffic.

This site is provided "as is" and without warranty. We do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue it — or the app — at any time. We are not liable for any loss arising from a decision made with the app, from a link being unavailable, or from data you chose to publish through it.

Updates

The app may require updates to keep working with current versions of iOS. We are not obliged to keep supporting older versions. If we stop providing the app, your rights under these terms end and you should delete it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the app or this site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
